Cape Town South Africa- A Commodore Hotel Review

I am still on cloud nine from my extraordinary trip to South Africa, and want to continue with hotel reviews of the properties at which we stayed and visited.
Next on the list is The Commodore Hotel, offering very comfortable 4 star accommodations with Victorian charm, right in the heart of the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront area, which is home to a variety of shops, restaurants and bars. It is a cozy, comfortable place to call home base as you explore lovely Cape Town. Most rooms have wonderful views of Table Mountain, Table Bay and Signal Hill and offer clean, comfortable appointments.

There is a wonderful, sunny patio with a Koi pond that is a perfect place to enjoy a meal, drinks and good conversation. The Clipper Restaurant offers a variety of dining options from an extensive breakfast buffet to a diverse a la carte menu, and mouth-watering deserts. The hotel also has its Commodore House Wine Collection, as well as a large selection of sherries, brandies and cognacs. The Admiralty Bar and Lounge is a perfect place to relax and enjoy high tea, while listening to the Piano Man play your favorite songs.
The Commodore Hotel houses a gym, sauna, a travel desk and has a doctor and dentist on call 24 hours a day! This could easily become a favorite stop for travelers in South Africa, and one I would not hesitate to recommend to clients who are looking for a cozy atmosphere at a great value.

I still get butterflies in my stomach when I think of South Africa, and I cannot wait to return! Take a look at this awesome package from my favorite supplier and partner in selling South Africa, Lion World Tours, and let us get you there! Notice that there is no single supplement with The Commodore Hotel on certain dates- see below!

giant oak trees. The backdrop of the Hottentots Holland Mountains, the
white gabled Cape Dutch homesteads and the oak-lined streets and lanes
all blend in to give this place a charm that will not be quickly
forgotten. See some of the wine estates that were developed by early
