Travel Trends for 2011- A Personal Review

Wondering what the travel trends are going to be for 2011? If my bookings are any indication, people are wanting a variety of options and the travel market is promising to be strong this year.
I recently booked a great ski trip to Jackson Hole, Wy, which has had 346″ of snow this season! With all of that snow, a winter sports vacation is a great option- just contact me to get a quote for the great deals being offered through March and April, not only in Wyoming, but in Colorado and Canada as well!

I still get excited every time I book a Disney vacation, and I have booked two Walt Disney World Packages so far this year. Disney knows how to keep them coming with specials both on land and sea.

Something for Everyone: Room & Ticket

This 6-night, 7-day vacation package for a family of 4 has something
for everyone! It includes a stay at a select Disney Value Resort with
Disney Theme Park tickets for as little as $64 per person, per day for stays most nights during selected dates. That’s a total package price of $1,779 before taxes and government fees. Contact me and I’ll get a quote for your family.

What about a Disney Cruise?

Kids age 17 and under sail free when traveling on select Alaska cruises with 2 full-fare Guests in the same Oceanview or Verandah stateroom. There are even surprisingly good rates on the new Disney Dream sailing to Bahamas. I can get a quote to you, just contact me!

DISNEY DREAM- Absolutely Beautiful Ship!

The honeymoon market is gearing up and proving to be even stronger than ever this year, with more and more people planning destination weddings. Sandals All-Inclusive Resorts are a favorite choice of mine, and when you combine Martha Stewart with Sandals, you get an Ultimate Wedding and Honeymoon Experience. There are six gorgeous wedding themes designed by Martha, and right now you can get fabulous pricing on the Seaside Serenade, the Chic and Natural and the Island Paradise themes. Decide to say “I Do” in the beauty and ambiance of the “Twilight Hour” for just a little more, but oh so worth it!

I have a couple at the Royal Bahamian right now. Why is this resort still one of my favorites? Because it combines Grace, Elegance, History and its own Private Island! Gorgeous!!

Cruising is still a very strong vacation option, despite the rare horror story that the media tends to focus on. Considering the hundreds of thousands of passengers that sail monthly, there must be something that is worthy to consider, and my experience is proof positive, both personal and according to my clients. Even though cruise prices have increased across the board by about 30% over last year’s prices, sailings are filling up fast, but guess what? There are right now, great prices on select sailings that fit every budget. I am so impressed with Norwegian Cruise Line’s Epic- what a ship! I have clients sailing on this incredible ship this month. Book  one of these incredible voyages and experience traditional fine dining to endless buffets, with
custom-order action stations. There is also a host of delicious options
included in your cruise fare. Check this out; for an additional cover charge, you’ll
have access to a world of possibilities including gourmet French,
Japanese Teppanyaki, a traditional steakhouse and more – over 20
different dining options in all. Did you say entertaiment, please? What about The Blue Man Group, The Second City® comedy troupe, a
state-of-the-art fitness center, the Aqua Park, hot tubs, climbing and
rappelling walls, bars and lounges of all kinds, a kid’s center, teen
disco and more are all on board. Experience flexible accommodations ranging from the new Studios
designed and priced specifically for the solo traveler- it’s about time- to the
over-the-top opulence of Norwegian Epic’s Suites and Villas- oh yes!! Visit www.ncl.com for more info, or contact me!
