Cambridge Beaches Resort and Spa, Bermuda Hotel Review

Conde Nast Readers have once again voted Bermuda the “Best Island in the Caribbean/Atlantic Region” for the 17th consecutive year at the Conde Nast Travelers 2010 Readers’ Choice Awards. In fact, Bermuda was ranked #1 island in the ENTIRE Western Hemisphere.

Bermuda is a British territory just off the East Coast of the US, with easy non-stop access from many international hubs, and for us, a brief 5 hour flight from Nashville. US currency is accepted everywhere, and English is the official language. This luscious island is where we spent our honeymoon 24 years ago and again for our 5th anniversary.

Cambridge Beaches Resort and Spa, where we spent our honeymoon, is a Bermuda cottage colony with four private beaches, and a renowned European-style spa. The beautiful pink and white cottages, some 200 years old, each feature plush furnishings, air-conditioning, ceiling fans and either a patio or balcony, that overlook the gorgeous beach or the lush gardens. This resort is perfect for a romantic couple’s getaway, and continues to score high with patrons, with a 95% approval rate. From the delectable breakfasts served on our private patio each morning, to the rum swizzle Mondays and afternoon teas, every detail at Cambridge Beaches Resort and Spa is handled with such care by the friendly and attentive staff, that I highly recommend this destination to my clients.
Cambridge Beaches Resort and Spa is on a private 30-acre peninsula with four private beaches overlooking Mangrove Bay and Long Bay. There are a variety of transportation options to take in the entire island and the multitude of activities offered.
